Life — A Race?

Or is it a walk, a jog or a stroll?
A sprint or is it — for the long haul!
I wonder if it’s a race or — a maze?
Well, for the amazed rat — it’s all a haze!

Some choose not to be
a part of this race!
Some sprint and jog,
While some just clog,
the pebbled pathway —
That leads sometimes,
To Heaven or Hell or —
To ever-eluding Utopia,
But often you’re back —
To where you started!

IF AT ALL Life is a race — then it’s definitely not a 100m sprint but a long marathon with hurdles and potholes and diversions and sometimes — dead-ends! 🙂
