Dare to Re-Love!

I wonder — what’s more beautiful,
Than a broken heart,
that dared to love again?

Those fingers that once,
trembled to touch,
Those words that forever
clogged up the throat,
Those eyes that went sore
washing up the shore,
That heart that pumped
Well — that’s all it did!

But now as I drown again,
in familiar moonlight,
the fragrance of those roses,
is not lovelorn anymore —
as your soft lips melt in mine,
to kiss to oneness forever
blest in the raging rain.

I’ve been devoured,
dragged and dusted.
And ruined I may —
well be — yet again!
Though for now —
You’re trusted!”!
